A thief went to shop that sold coins and stole a coin from Emperor Ashoka’s time that had 268 B.C. on it Rare coins were worth Rs. 1000 for every year before Christ that they dated to. So how much did the thief get for his stolen coin?

SINCE, ASHOKA BORN MANY YEARS AFTER CHIRST .SO HOW CAN 268 BEFORE CHIRST BE WRITTEN ON A COIN WHICH BELONGS TO KING ASHOKA.
