Matching Pair of Socks

Mammu has 16 pairs of white socks and 16 pairs of brown socks. She keeps them all in the same drawer. If she picks out three socks at random what is the probability she will get a matching pair?

  2. as total no of shocks (both black n white) are 64, out of dem 32 black n 32 white,
    wen she picks up 3 shocks it may be eidr 2black one white ,or 2 white one black or 3 black or 3 white…
    so the probabity will be :: 2* (32C2 * 32C1 / 64C3) + 2*(32C3/64C3)
